Royez
Sébastien Royez (born in 1971, France) is a multidisciplinary artist, painter and photographer, whose work unfolds between Marrakech and France. Trained in Belgium and Paris, he has developed a practice enriched by a background blending art, design and art direction.
Since 2017, his work has revolved around the motif of the African mask, which he explores and reinterprets within a contemporary aesthetic, somewhere between painting and photography. His work, imbued with symbolism and mystery, has been exhibited in Europe, Morocco, and the United States.
